“Dahlonega Stories”

In 2008, the Downtown Development Authority launched the “Dahlonega Stories” bronze history plaque program. Our goal is for each of the 60 downtown commercial buildings to have a “Dahlonega Stories” bronze plaque, and already we have created 18 of them in cooperation with the property owners. DDA’s bronze history plaque program had an expansion last year with the participation of Diane and Dale Solomich, owners of the Sargent Building and the Front Porch Restaurant. Vicki Lynn and her assistants accepted the award on behalf of Dale & Diane.
