Dahlonega Literary Festival
Date/Time
Date(s) - Friday, March 6, 2020 - Saturday, March 7, 2020 | All Day
The Dahlonega Literary Festival is an annual celebration of books. Book lovers will gather once again on Friday and Saturday, March 6 and 7, 2020 for the Dahlonega Literary Festival. Now in its 17th year, and held in historic downtown Dahlonega, Georgia, the Festival gets more diverse and entertaining each year. Events are open to everyone and most are free, unless otherwise noted, and include individual presentations, panel discussions, workshops, a Festival Book Store, book signings and more. Our Featured Authors are nationally-known and represent a variety of genres. Additionally, Regional Writers (from local to other areas of the Southeast and beyond) are on hand to interact with attendees and sell their books. At our “2020 Authors and Writers” page you can find author pictures, biographies, book covers and plot summaries. As our Events and Programs become available they will be posted on our Festival Events page. The Festival is organized by an all-volunteer staff who enjoy bringing readers, authors, and the written word together to celebrate a common love of books and literature. Under the auspices of The Lumpkin Literacy Coalition, The Dahlonega Literary Festival is a 501 (c) 3 non-profit organization, financially supported by donations and grants from individuals, businesses, and other organizations.
