Parking

In addition to the free & convenient 300 parking spaces on and surrounding the Public Square, downtown Dahlonega maintains three free parking lots with 140 spaces just a short walk to our most popular destinations. The two free parking lots on Warwick Street between North Chestatee and North Park Streets. The third free parking lot is located of Meaders Street and Choice Street is conveniently located near the Dahlonega Visitor Center. Another Free option is the parking deck located on campus of the University of North Georgia (entrance next to the Smith House – 84 S Chestatee Street, Dahlonega, GA 30533) available from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 a.m. Monday- Thursday and weekends starting Friday at 5:30pm to Monday at 7:30am. This shady parking deck is free for patrons to enjoy year round.
