Dahlonega Announces Complete Streets

September 2014 – Complete Streets are designed to enable safe access for all users, including pedestrians, bicyclists, and motorists of all ages and abilities. Complete Streets make it easier to cross the street, walk to shops, and bicycle to work.

The City of Dahlonega is excited about the future Complete Streets initiative as a way to stimulate more economic development and investment in downtown Dahlonega. The project will improve street connectivity allowing everyone to reach community focal points and maintaining downtown Dahlonega as the economic and cultural center of the northeast Georgia mountains.
