Better Hometown Program Commended for 10 Successful Years

The award was presented in a ceremony in Atlanta on January 25. The Department of Community Affairs’ statement read, “The Dahlonega Better Hometown Program’s overwhelming success is due to the City’s perseverance in revitalizing downtown and preserving its historic character. As the Georgia Main Street Program celebrates its 30^th Anniversary, we extend our gratitude and congratulations for your role in this exceptional effort.”
